Head Coach Jon Groth has stepped down from that position and Doug Wren will take over as Head Coach of the Apaches details are available on the link in the yellow Apache News box above.....Summer Tryout info is available by clicking on the tryout button to the left on the home page...Tryouts are for HS Grads/College transfers ONLY, no HS underclassmen please...there is no fee but reservations are REQUIRED as directed on the tryout page...space is limited per date...TJC finished its MAC schedule at 28-8, and will enter NJCAA Playoffs as the District C #2 seed...the Apaches will face N.Arkansas Fri May 8th at 3:00 pm to open NJCAA Playoff competition in McKinney...brackets for that tourney are on the front page of both the tylerbaseball.com site and the MAC baseball site....stay current with Apache Results and Stats by clicking on the Results and Stats button...ALL games can be viewed LIVE ONLINE by clicking on the Green Live Game Stats Link..... ....Apaches ranked #3 in latest NJCAA Poll.....the City of Tyler Chamber of Commerce will make a bid to be selected by the NJCAA again, as host of the NJCAA Division III World Series for 2010, 2011, 2012.....Tyler's Historic Mike Carter Field has been the site for the NJCAA Div III National Championship Tourney the past two seasons, and will host in 2009, the NJCAA Div III World Series in the third and final year of the initial selection period...
